Community Session #1: March 26, 2008 |

An open community forum was held to kick-off the school planning process. Over 100 members of the Schiller Park School District 81 participated, including students, parents, teachers, administrators, neighbors, community elders and other community leaders, stakeholders and taxpayers. Following are descriptions and links to view materials generated for and during this worksession.
Presentation Slides BrainSpaces presented an introduction to the school planning process for the new Lincoln Middle School. Examples of middle school facilities from throughout the country were also shown. View presentation slides here.
Individual & Group Comments Each attendee was asked to participate by sharing their hopes and concerns about the new school project. Comments were recorded directly into the presentation. To view comment slides only, click here.
Community Survey Sheets Two-page survey forms were distributed to all attendees to help gather everyone’s insights and suggestions. Extra copies were made available for distribution to those who could not attend, and stamped envelopes were distributed to facilitate the gathering of completed surveys.
